POCT-ambulant – an active and regional research-development-practice dialogue with GP practices

With "POCT-ambulant", the research campus is developing a structured and systematic program to assess the patient benefit and clinical need for on-site testing procedures (so-called point-of-care procedures) in the private practice sector. As an accompanying clinical research project, an active and regional research-development-practice dialogue with GP practices will be established. The Institute of General Medicine of the Jena University Hospital works here with a network of teaching and research practices from all over Thuringia. Experiences from medical practices are thus to flow into research and development at an early stage.
