The German Biotech Days bring together entrepreneurs, scientists, and representatives from politics, investment, funding institutions, and public administration. The event is the national forum for the German and international biotechnology industry. As a partner region of the event, the InfectoGnostics research campus uses the platform to connect with stakeholders from biotechnology, science, and industry and to initiate new collaborations.
InfectoGnostics is actively shaping the programme of German Biotech Days 2026 in Leipzig:
Together with the BioLago cluster from Konstanz, InfectoGnostics is involved in organizing the Innovation Prize of German BioRegions and will co-moderate the presentation of the finalists during the conference. In addition, Managing Director Dr Jens Hellwage will moderate the session “Antibiotic Resistance: Fighting the Silent Pandemic”, which highlights current progress in diagnostics and novel anti-infectives to address antimicrobial resistance.
