Adaptable decentralised diagnostics for veterinary and human medicine

In "ADA", a cost-effective, open test platform for screening for Staphylococcus aureus / MRSA in human and veterinary medicine is being developed. The system is designed to detect not only the germ, but also its relevant virulence factors and resistance genes from swab samples from patients and milk samples from cows, while at the same time enabling the typing of pathogens. The open platform allows multiplexing of molecular biological detections and rapid adaptation to new pathogens. In addition, it will also be used for the analysis of genome sequences.
