Thus far, most diagnostic methods have not yet been able to reliably identify viruses. In this lecture, bioinformatician Prof. Manja Marz will present how these tiny pathogens can also be detected using modern sequencing methods and new bioinformatics approaches. In addition, this DiagnosTech lecture will also deal with the future challenge of pathogen determination.
