The European Virus Bioinformatics Center (EVBC) is intended to bring together virologists and bioinformaticians across Europe and provide a platform for the implementation of interdisciplinary collaborative projects at local and transnational levels.The Center will raise the awareness for the importance of virus bioinformatics, will increase the international visibility of this topic and will strengthen the exchange of ideas between bioinformaticians, virologists and also industrial members.
Many outstanding researchers from all over Europe will come to Jena for the 1st Meeting of the EVBC. During this three day event we will discuss current and up-coming projects, major challenges and emerging issues, as well as future funding possibilities.
