Diagnosis before therapy: The InfectoGnostics research campus provides customized, portable and highly specific solutions for infectious diseases. Within the public-private partnership more than 30 partners from science, medicine and industry closely cooperate. The research campus is supported by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal State of Thuringia.
Within its central campus project InfectoGnostics develops solutions in the form of reliable, rapid and non-invasive diagnosis of pneumonia pathogens and their resistance. A timely pathogen-specific diagnosis is a prerequisite for and early and targeted antibiotic therapy. At Analytica 2018, InfectoGnostics will present initial technological solutions that were developed within the campus project.
