Cross-Cluster Weeks Thuringia provide impulses for innovation

The Cross-Cluster Weeks Thuringia were again a complete success in 2021 with almost 800 participants. Topics like sustainable production, new materials, energy transition, resource efficiency, on-site analysis and therapy of infections or digitalization were discussed in a cross-sectoral exchange among the numerous interested parties in 14 events in presence and online. In seminars, workshops, expert forums and other formats, the audience was able to exchange information about current trends, research projects and cooperations. Many conversations were held and new ideas and approaches were debated intensively. The Cross-Cluster Weeks Thuringia thus strengthen the cross-industry cooperation of Thuringian companies and research institutions. For the economic and social future of Thuringia, cooperation across industry boundaries is a necessity in order to actively shape structural change and meet social challenges with new approaches and innovative solutions.

The InfectoGnostics Research Campus Jena participated this year with the following events as organizer or co-organizer: DiagnosTech Academy: POCTs in the general practice - general conditions and clinical needs analysis // Supra-regional exchange "on-site analytics" between Thuringia and Southern Lower Saxony // DiagnosTech Pitch: Combating bacterial pathogens with lysins from bacteriophages.

The Cross-Cluster Initiative Thuringia is a strong alliance of industry networks, innovation centers and supporting organizations and contributes to the expansion of regional value creation systems by jointly organizing the Cross-Cluster Weeks.

The Thuringia cross-cluster weeks were supported by the Thuringian Cluster Management of the State Development agency LEG and the STIFT foundation.
