Dr. Jens Hellwage, Managing Director of the research campus, will represent InfectoGnostics in the ceremony. He sees the nomination as a positive signal on the way to a stronger internationalization of the research campus that launched as a regional initiative: "The long-term goal of InfectoGnostics is to build up a European competence center for infection diagnostics. We are therefore very pleased that our research campus has attracted attention at a very early stage."

InfectoGnostics is also supported by the Free State of Thuringia in Brussels: Together with Dr. Hellwage, Dr. Sabine Awe, from the Thuringian Ministry of Science, Business and Digital Society (TMWWDG), and Annelie Zapfe from the EU Representation of Thuringia are taking part at the ceremony.
